The MicroRay Food Series of infrared (IR) thermometers are
the ideal tools to measure the temperature as required by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulation and HACCP

The MicroRay Food Series measures temperature using non contact Infrared temperature
technology in the Critical Control Points (CCP). The nine areas were identified as CCP to monitor food safety, as defined

HACCP Danger Zone Alarms
The MicroRay Food quickly measure
food surface temperature and visible alarms safe or unsafe readings with icons on display. The icons indicates immediately
if food temperatures are within HACCP guidelines for safe hot or cold food holding. The MicroRay Food+ includes an audible
Beep when the Alarm appears.
Laser Sighting - US Ultra
Sharp
All models are equipped with
a Class II Laser sighting system for aiming purposes. The offset laser sighting will allow you to identify the approx. center
of the target being measured.
Using the most advanced technology, the MicroRay FOOD++ has a laser sighting
with a reflex system of the beam passing through the center of the lens, which grants the best possible accuracy when aiming
at a distance. Datalogging
The MicroRay FOOD+/FOOD++ can store
up to 64 test points with date and time using the internal real time clock. Datalogging can be manual or automatic with settable
sampling time. All three of the MicroRay Food models include a programmable 8 hours countdown timer to help monitor cooking,
cooling, and holding times.
Built-In Contact Probe
The MicroRay FOOD+/FOOD++ are equipped
with a connector for contact measurement using a Pt1000 RTD Temperature Sensor. The available temperature probes include a
Contact, Immersion, Penetration, and Ambient Air. One optional 2.5" compact probe can actually be stored inside the unit for
easy access. Longer probes are available if needed and provided with a wire connection.
Documenting and DataLogging Software for Windows™ The optional Logman Sofware is compatible with Windows 98/2000/XP and can download data
via the USB port and cable. The USB port is available on MicroRay Food+. You can download up to 64 tests or run
on-line logging storing data directly on PC. You can view, print, graph and export an Excel file. Part

Transportation and Receiving
The first step to ensure food safety
begins from transportation and receiving. The MicroRay FOOD Series will help you by quickly scanning fresh or frozen
food when receiving a delivery.

Storage
Frozen and chilled food have to be stored at 4.4°C
(40°F) or below to avoid bacteria growth. In food stores and supermarkets it is important to frequently inspect refrigerated case temperature to check for dangerous warm spots.

Monitoring temperature is important also for gourmet
cooking. Professional chefs and industrial food manufacturers have to check food temperature for best food quality.
Serving and Holding
