Applications
Typical application for the IRtec P1300+ MX2 portable documenting infrared thermometer can be used to measrure and record temperatures
in a wide variety of process applications where an increase in temperature means a possible machine wearing,
aging, and faulting. Temperature Checks are Important for:

Chemical
New Optic System
The optical system consists of a high quality lens which brings the infrared energy to the detector;
a filter and a field stop which defines the visual cone and the minimum target dimensions. The detector is placed at the focal
point of the optical system. No focusing operations are required.
A correct aiming of the target is an important
feature in a non-contact thermometer. Immediate evaluation of the smallest measurable target area is also an important factor
in many applications. With a laser pinpointing the operation of the instrument is extremely simplified. You simply aim the
target and read the temperature while keeping a safe body position.
Laser Sighting System - TTS - True Target Size
The IRtec P1300+ MX2 is equipped with
a dual laser pointer system which defines at different distances the true target dimension. This unique and innovative system
go over the limits of the old crossed laser pointer based system. TTS really guarantees the measuring of the true area diameter
along all the optical path.
LD - Parallel
A dual laser parallel pointer can precisely locate targets
at long distances.
Green laser vs.
Red laser Sighting System
The
green laser pointer helps the operator to better view the laser pointer when the target temperature is higher than 1000°C.

Display Features
The high contrast custom LCD display
indicates the actual temperature value and shows the operative mode selected. The display backlight is automatically switched
on to allow easy reading in poor light conditions.
